David and Desiree Farrar were kicked off the corporate merry-go-round in early 2002 and began searching for a way to become self sufficient. In November, 2002 they purchased the property that soon became Trail's End Guest House. On February 14th, 2003 they opened their 1st room (Southwest) and the rest is history. There are now 7 rentals with 9 bedrooms.
The Farrar's still work selling specialty gases to finance the growth of Trail's End, so there will always be new additions and improvements.
